Webpage Now Improved for iPhone
February 23, 2009 13:22
We’ve made a few small changes to the website to
help it initially display better in Mobile Safari on
the iPhone/iPod Touch. Specifically, we’ve added
a tag to all the pages, which causes Mobile Safari to
make the content area fill the screen as much as
possible when initially displayed.
Previously, when a user visited the site using Mobile Safari, the site was rendered to only fill about 3/4 of the screen width. Adding this tag makes Mobile Safari render the site to fill nearly 100% of the screen, making it initially to read. Of course, resizing still works the same as always.
There should be no difference on desktop browsers.
